April 4&5, 2025: Leslie Daniel & Ronna Martin
Love Like Jesus

Leslie Daniel has many years experience as a working woman. She has been assisting her husband, Dave, in his ministry and profession many years and providing a loving, happy home to their four children, Chantel, Micah, Phillip, and Jacob. Living with four children under one roof has proven to be one of the best continuing educational classes she has ever taken. Maintaining the family vision, and problem solving were in high demand, and put to the test daily. Leslie has been an active and serving member of Kenai Christian Church over 30 years. In that time she has served in many capacities, be it nursery worker, high school teacher, VBS coordinator, member of the Education Team, or staff member. All of these roles have helped prepare her for her current role as minister to the women. Born and raised in Alaska, Leslie has spent the last 60+ years enjoying the adventure of living in “The Last Frontier”, and God has used this time to prepare her for the many hats she has worn over the years. Living here has helped equip her for the different mission fields she has found herself in from South Africa, to Mexico, and most recently to Haiti. Her favorite mission however is at home, facilitating Women's Bible studies. Leslie believes that God is using her, in spite of what she is not. With no children living at home, and precious grandchildren to spoil, she can only laugh at the days to come.

Ronna Martin was born and raised in Ninilchik. Earned her teaching degree at U of Alaska Fairbanks where she met her husband Blair. They've been married 35 years, have 5 children (ages 21-32), and 5 grandchildren. Ronna and her husband are owners/operators of the Diamond M Ranch Resort in Kenai, which was started 28 years ago from raw land in 1997. They have been an active part of Peninsula Grace Church in Soldotna for 28 years. Life has taken Ronna on a journey of deep loss and miraculous survival. In 2009, their family faced unimaginable grief when they lost their middle child in an animal accident at the Ninilchik Fair. A decade later in 2019, Ronna survived a near-fatal fall from the cliffs of Mt Marathon- an experience that left her forever changed. Through it all, God has given her stories of faith, resilience, and the power of choosing love. She looks forward to sharing this journey with you at this year's 2025 Loving Well Ladies Conference.

Open Hands Willing Heart
Discover the Joy of Saying Yes to God
April 21&22, 2023: Nancy Vance
God's Will for Your Shoes
As an active participant in Bible Study Fellowship, Nancy loves digging into God’s Word and sharing it with others. She has valued the strong Christian influence of her family, and she accepted the Lord as her Savior when she was young.
Over the years, strong Biblical teaching and ministry opportunities, both in the U.S. and overseas, have allowed Nancy to see the Lord at work in lives of women of diverse backgrounds. Drawing upon her training as an English, speech and drama teacher, she looks for creative ways to bring spiritual truths to life.
Seven years ago, God put it on Nancy’s heart to form the leadership team for the Olympic Peninsula Women’s Fellowship with the vision of unifying and encouraging women in Christ from across the peninsula.
Nancy and her husband Allan retired to Port Townsend, Washington in 2010 and love visits from their 5 children and 10 grands. [She also enjoys hiking and her newly discovered passion for taking watercolor lessons.]
She joyfully accepted the invitation to speak at our retreat, knowing that God would use our time together to affirm His will for each of our lives.

an encouraging message by Mekeisha. Here are a few photos from the event:
2019 Following Jesus:
through the storms, the doubt, and the seas

Alaskan fisherwoman Leslie Leyland Fields from Kodiak led us across time and culture to dive into the gospels beside ragtag fisherman-disciples, to the Sea of Galilea, as they followed Jesus. As a commercial salmon fisherwoman and mother of six, her fresh insights helped us discover what it means to "Come, follow me."
Leslie Leyland Fields is an award-winning author, a national speaker, and a popular radio guest. "As we follow after Jesus, he's going to rock our boat. Count on it."
